SET UP FOR CALM CONDITIONS

Seven simple steps to successfully deploy your Shaka Shade in calm conditions

When To Use the Calm Setup

Our Calm Setup is intended as a 'fail-safe' option, for when there is extremely little to no breeze at all. This setup should only be deployed in wind conditions of 0-2km per hour. Because the canopy material is so lightweight, for any stronger conditions than this, the Windy Setup is far more appropriate, and highly recommended.

STEP 1

Connect both sets of poles

STEP 2

Lay the canopy flat and insert the poles through front & middle sleeves

STEP 3

Fill bag with sand & attach rope with carabiner to bag strap

STEP 4

Erect shade by planting poles firmly into sand & connect other end of rope to shade frame

STEP 5

Attach the two shorter ropes to black tabs on rear of shade with carabiners

STEP 6

Plant pegs firmly into sand and attach other end of the ropes with metal adjusters

STEP 7

Secure the rope to the back of the shade and enjoy!
